MURDER PARTY · FIRST SCENARIO

LE MANOIR PHANTOM

First session: Wednesday 30 SeptemberOn the HPS Discord

A violent storm cuts an old manor off from the rest of the world. During the evening, the owner gathers his family, relatives and several guests to make an important announcement.

But a power cut suddenly plunges the manor into darkness. Moments later, the owner is found dead.

The murderer is one of the guests.

The investigation

Each participant plays a unique character with:

  • an identity and a job;
  • a personality to role-play;
  • relationships with the other characters;
  • information only they know;
  • secrets they may choose to protect;
  • side missions to complete.

Players will talk in public and in private, compare their stories, share or hide their clues and possibly lie to protect their interests.

Goal: find out who killed the victim, where, how and why.

Each player has 3 suspicions and one final accusation. A fully correct accusation solves the murder and ends the game immediately.

What makes the Manor special

Everyone has something to hide. The murderer obviously has to avoid being caught, but the innocents also have their own secrets and goals.

A player can lie without being the murderer, protect someone, try to frame another character or pursue a personal mission.

Finding out who is lying isn’t enough. You have to find out why.

PHANTOM CUP SERIES

OUR GAME MODES

Competitive nights between members, with a different format every time.

Phantoms Gugus

Be the player with the most points at the end of the night, across modes like Sticks & Stones, Gun Game, One in the Chamber and Prop Hunt.

Phantoms Killrace

In teams of 2, 3 or 4 players depending on turnout, in Warzone Resurgence: grab as many kills and top placements as you can to finish with the best score.

HPS Chaos Roulette

Private Multiplayer matches to finish 1st of the night. Before each game, draw a random constraint you must follow until the end.

HPS Last Survivor

Everyone starts with 3 lives. When your team loses a game, all its players lose a life; the winning team keeps its lives and earns a shield for the next game. Be the last one standing!

How 1v1 tournaments work

  1. QualifiersEach participant plays a first randomly drawn duel. The winner joins the Winner Bracket, the loser joins the Loser Bracket.
  2. Winner BracketUnbeaten players face off up to the Winner Final. The winner goes to the Grand Final, the loser drops to the Loser Final.
  3. Loser BracketA second chance: another defeat eliminates the player. The last survivor faces the loser of the Winner Final.
  4. Grand FinalThe Winner Final winner faces the Loser Final winner. This single duel crowns the champion: no bracket reset.

Registration is open to members. Launching matches and scores is handled by the Staff.
